Who is Cool Running?
Cool Running has been bringing running news to the web since 1995. We are
independent of any national or state association or multinational corporation.
www.coolrunning.com is the No 2 running site in
the USA, and www.coolrunning.com.au is the No. 1
non-government athletics site in Australia. Following the move to New Zealand by one of
Cool Running's founders, www.coolrunning.co.nz
was established in 1999. It regularly ranks #1 (by traffic) in New Zealand - occasionally being pipped to 2nd place
by the Athletics New Zealand web site. The last time we checked the site traffic
we were serving up over 40,000 page impressions per week (check out the log files).
Cool Running is owned and operated by computer professionals with years of experience
on the internet, who are runners and actively involved in the sport as competitors and
coaches. But our major asset is our network of enthusiasts across the country, who bring
news, results, articles and informed discussion to the site.
What's on the web site?
Our major draws are the calendar, the library of
race results (dating back to 1996 in New Zealand) and the rapidly
growing collection of online race information and entry forms.
The other major attractions are the online discussion forum The Tap and
our email news group subscribed by over 300 top athletes, coaches and officials.
