| Wellington's Jonathan Wyatt set a NZ residents record for the Half Marathon,
in a tightly contested race in Christchurch today. With both athletes set for the Commonwealth
Games Marathon in Manchester on 28 July, this was a final chance for a hit out in New Zealand
before the games.
