Entrants need to estimate the time it will take them to complete the course and place this time in the space provided within the entry form. From this we will calculate a start time. Individual start times will be notified to entrants in their "Confirmation of Entry" letter. Participants start times are calculated so that all participants finish around 10:30am. "Time Spot" prizes are selected at random by computer based on a finish around 10:30am. All entries received online or postmarked by the 10th February 2012 will be in the draw for an early entry prize. Entrants receive a quality Asics singlet to wear during the event. Singlets and event packs can be collected at specified locations (see entry form). All entries received by 10th February 2012 will be acknowledged with event information, start time, registration number and course information, mailed within 7 days prior to the event.

The weather for this event is usually warm and sunny, so it is strongly recommended that participants take on plenty of water before, during and after the event. Water stations will be provided at regular intervals around the course. We ask that participants stay on the footpath at all times unless otherwise directed by an official and please observe the requests of officials and Police Officers. Please note ALL ROADS WILL BE OPEN TO TRAFFIC.
Prizegiving will be held at 11.00am in Orakei Domain, adjacent to the finish area. Drinks and a Guiding NZ fund raising Sausage Sizzle will be available. Photographs by Marathon-Photos.com.
Only minimal parking is available in Orakei Domain & Watene Reserve and is expected to fill early. It is advised that you allow extra time before your event for parking. We ask also that consideration be given to local residents when parking.
Entries received after 10th February 2012 incur a late entry fee of $5.00, may not receive a "Confirmation of Entry" letter, and singlet cannot be guaranteed. Postal late entry event packs will be available at the Late Entry Desk, Orakei Domain, on the day of the event from 6:30-9:00am. Late entries will also be accepted at Stirling Sports, 170 Queen Street Auckland on Friday 24th Feb between 9:00am-4:00pm, or Saturday 25th Feb, 9:00am-2:00pm and on event day from 6:30am-9:00am at the late entry desk situated in the rugby clubroom, Orakei Domain (cash or cheque only).

To qualify for prizes you must complete the course within the maximum time of 3hrs-30min and be present, in person, at the prizegiving.
