A note from the organisers: Thank you and congratulations for taking on the Gutbuster, especially in what proved slippery conditions. The organising committee is delighted by the record level of entries. We welcome feedback and look forward to continuing to improve the event. Our biggest concern is getting the recording of results right. A substantial number of results did not get recorded for a range of reasons. In addition to having weather problems resulting in running ink on the results sheet, people entered as walkers actually participated as runners, partners swapped numbers, and we even had at least one sex change. In all seriousness the committee has agreed the need for more people at the finish to record finishing times, and to look at technological solutions. We apologise for any disappointments if your results are not recorded accurately, and welcome any further information on missing finishing results.

Next year we are also considering starting walkers and runners together, and to have two quicker shorter prizegivings at the finish of each event. This would also eliminate any confusion in processing runners and walkers at the same time.
