Races start and finish at Herries Park, Rewi St, Te Aroha.
Showers and sausages available, Prize giving at 11.30am.
Beautiful scenic one-lap course!

Start Times

10km Road Race

  1. Start time - 9.00am for walkers, 9.30am for runners.
  2. Registration Location: Herries Park, Te Aroha.
  3. Start and Finish: Herries Park.
  4. Time Keeping: 2 hours.
  5. Changing and showering Facilities at Herries Park.
  6. Race is open to everyone with one day membership being provided. Persons under 16 will need approval from parents.
  7. Race numbers will be available at Herries Park from 8am on the day of the race only. Race Nos. must be worn on front of singlet or T-Shirt.
  8. Fully registered athletes must compete in Club Uniform and wear their registration number or membership patch in the place as decided by their Centres.
  9. No special drinks. Cold water and sponges available every five kms and finish.
  10. Award ceremony:- 11.30 at Herries Park. Prizes 1, 2, 3, for each age group if there are sufficient entries otherwise 1st place only will be awarded. Walking prizes will be awarded only to 1, 2, & 3 male and females overall (there will be no age categories).
  11. All entrants must indicate which Grade he or she is competing in.
  12. All finishers will go in a draw for spot prizes. Competitors must complete the course and be at the prize giving to collect prizes.

5km Off Road Fun Run/Walk

  1. Start time 9.35am for all walkers and runners.
  2. Registration Location: Herries Park, Te Aroha.
  3. Start and Finish: Herries Park.
  4. Entrants to keep own times for event.
  5. No prizes will be awarded for placings. All finishers will go into a draw for spot prizes. Competitors must complete the course and be at the prize giving to collect prizes.

Fastest Times - 10km

  1. Men: S Wenzlick - 36:08
  2. Women: A Braakhuis - 38.56

Race Rules

  1. Runners must run on the right hand side of the Road facing oncoming traffic, unless otherwise directed by a race marshall. Roads are still open to traffic.
