With stunning views over Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt, and Wellington Harbour (backdropped by the Kaikouras), the race definitely has
atmosphere.
Thc course itself, as well as being steep, has a somewhat roller-coaster ride quality. Mostly along firebreaks, it has a number of sections which dip down on the uphill journey, and vice versa on the predominantly downhill second half of the run.
Make the move now to participate in this top mountain run and walk.
