Start Times:
Half Marathon Walk7.30 amOpposite Trigg Road

Timing:
Electronic timing by Timing Sports. Please uplift race number and timing chip from 3.00 to 5.00pm Saturday 10 April at Massey Athletics Clubhouse, 53 Granville Drive, Moire Park. Late entries and pick up at venue from 6.30 Sunday 11 April. Please be early. Timing chips not returned will cost you $50.

Event T-Shirt:
Dri-Fit Whenuapai Half T-Shirt in red only. Pre-ordered, prepaid only at $35. Strict closing date for orders Thur 1 April 2010. Click here to order your t-shirt.

Race Packs:
Collect race pack at the finish after completing your run/walk.

Late Entries / Finish Area:
Is inside the Whenuapai School, Airport Road, Whenuapai.

Car Parking:
Will be available courtesy of the RNZAF on the grass triangle reserve. Drivers are asked to park as directed by Event Marshals.

Drink Stations:
McKean Water will provide water at 5k, 9k, 13k, 16k and 20k around the course.

The Course:
The course is clearly marked and marshalled and takes you through rural Whenuapai's gently undulating country roads, across the causeway and around picturesque Herald Island (half marathon entrants only) - returns circumnavigating the RNZAF base and finishing inside Whenuapai School grounds. All entrants must obey the directions of the Police and Course Marshals at all times during the event. See map.

Timekeeping /Results:
Will be posted after the event at the venue. Also on the results page.

Certificates:
Your certificate will be available for download/printing from the Massey Athletics web site. The 6k competitors may uplift their certificate after the finish.

Prizegiving:
For 6k entrants will commence at 10.45am. For half marathon and 10k entrants will commence as close to 11.00am as possible. Entrants must be present inside Whenuapai School to collect Spot Prizes or they will be redrawn.

Food & Drink:
Will be on sale courtesy of Whenuapai Primary School fundraising.

Toilets:
Are available inside Whenuapai School and at Herald Island.

Massage:
Will be available at completion of the course.

Safety Traffic Plan:
The Club Physical Whenuapai Half Marathon will be run under the control of a STMS prescribed in a safety plan submitted to the Waitakere City Council.
